How to Connect to Salt & Steel

Joining Salt & Steel takes less than 30 seconds.

Follow the steps below to connect using Rust’s console.

Step 1 — Launch Rust

Open Rust through Steam as normal.

Wait until you reach the main menu.

Step 2 — Open the Console

Press F1 While in game

This opens Rust’s developer console.

Step 3 — Enter the Connect Command

In the console, type:

 

Then press Enter.

Rust will begin connecting you to the server.

That’s It

You’re in.

If the server is full, you’ll enter the queue automatically.
